Harbor Breeze Cruises has been providing public Whale Watching, World port, and charter cruises for over 18 years out of the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Our experienced Captains provide a comprehensive narration about the characteristics of each cruise.

Harbor Breeze Cruises was founded by Dan Salas in 1990. Danny's love of the ocean began at a young age. He began working at the San Pedro docks at the early age of 12. His fondness of the sea grew stronger as he grew older and he pursued a career as a tug boat captain.

After 10 years of working as a tug boat captain Danny was ready to set out on his own. He bought his first boat in 1994 and shortly there after gave his first tour. Danny has spent the past 18 years perfecting his harbor cruise business. He's hired experienced captains and staff to help his business excel.

Today Harbor Breeze Cruises offers more whale watching tours than any other company in the area.

The Southern California Coastline has more than just the Pacific Gray Whales and Blue Whales. Frequently on our tours we spot Common and Bottlenose Dolphins, Porpoises, Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Marine Birds, and other Whales.

2011 was a spectacular year for sighting Blue Whales. We spotted 1,489 Blue Whales! We expect the upcoming Gray Whale Watch season to be our best yet and invite you, your friends, and family to join us!

Our newest ships, the La Espada, the Triumphant and the Christopher, were designed specifically for whale watching. Passengers enjoy maximum viewing pleasure and comfort. There is no vessel similar to him in California. He is an extremely fast and exceptionally stable cat-hull vessel that can cruise to sightseeing locations smoothly and safely. The stadium seating on its bow provides an amazing view. Family and friends will have the greatest experience sightseeing on the La Espada along with its sisters the the Triumphant and the Christopher.

Harbor Breeze Cruises is located in Rainbow Harbor adjacent to the Aquarium of the Pacific at Dock #2. Exit the 710 South, follow the signs to the aquarium.
